Milat Steel is reckoned one of the biggest and the most standard factories in Afghanistan in the iron smelting sector, which is presided by Samiullah Fahim Group of Companies.
Milat Steel was established in (2022) with the goal of economic growth, reduction of iron imports, creating employment and self-sufficiency of the country and with an experienced board of leadership, a specialist cadre of Directors,Employees and Engineers and Modern Quality Control Laboratories at Afghanistan level and management and quality policies as per ISO standards is one of the leading factories in the field of Reinforcement production.
Reinforcement: Milat Steel Reinforcement is produced in sizes 8 to 32 mm in accordance with the international standard ASTM A615 grade 60 and 75 with MILAT trademark. The use of well-equipped rolling machines as well as modern quality control laboratories and experienced specialists has made Milat Steel Reinforcement of high quality and pass all tests, and its mechanical and quality properties in most issues are up to 15 % higher than standard limit.

Milat Steel products are manufactured as per ASTM A615 international standards and other similar standards accepted in the world. Milat Steel uses the highest technology in the world, the Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES) machine for precise control of chemical composition of products.
This machine determines the chemical composition with high precision and the composition is adjusted according to the type of product produced by adding the required materials. Also to achieve the best results in the quality of the products, the operation of separating the recyclable materials and choose the raw materials is done with very high precision and sensitivity in order to prevent the entry of harmful substances, therefore Milat Steel could manufacture products with resistance and high strength by carefully controlling the chemical composition , in the meantime with flexibility and elongation.
Milat Steel conducts stretching, bending and elongation tests on the products before bundling for complete assurance by advanced Universal Testing Machine located at the factory and after assurance sends the products to market, although the required quality of the products using From the laboratory, the chemical composition is determined from the beginning of the production process, and at the end of the production, mechanical property tests are performed for final assurance. Further than high strength, Milat Steel’s products also have good plasticity, and the elongation value of this factory’s grade 60 Reinforcementreaches 20%, and also considering the possibility of applying the bending test up to an angle of 180 degrees without any cracks, it is proven that the products have good resistance to earthquakes and tremor as well.
